Truck State
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Truck State collects, uses, shares, and protects information when drivers receive Truck State text messages, open Truck State invite links, and use the Truck State mobile application and related services.
Truck State supports delivery and load operations. The service allows drivers to receive app access links, verify their phone number, view assigned trips, receive updates, and share trip progress and location with dispatch during active work.
Information We Collect
- Phone number used for driver verification and account access.
- SMS consent and message-delivery details related to app-link, account-access, and support text messages.
- Verification and session data needed to authenticate the driver in the app.
- Assigned load and trip information, including stops, timing, and load identifiers.
- Location data, including approximate, precise, and background location, during active assigned trips.
- Push notification data, such as device push token, platform, and notification permission status.
- Driver-submitted chat content and attachments, including photos taken with the camera, images selected from the photo library, and files or documents chosen through the system file picker.
- Driver-submitted trip documents and proof-of-delivery materials attached to assigned loads.
- Operational diagnostics and service logs needed to maintain reliability, troubleshoot issues, and support trip tracking workflows.
How We Use Information
- Send drivers the Truck State app link and related access instructions.
- Verify the driver’s phone number and sign the driver into the app.
- Display assigned trips and shipment details.
- Track trip progress and share load visibility with dispatch and operations staff.
- Send order-related and trip-related push notifications.
- Let drivers send chat messages, upload photos, and attach supporting documents for dispatch and load communication.
- Let drivers capture and upload load-related documents such as POD, BOL, scale tickets, lumper documents, and other shipment support files.
- Improve service reliability, security, and support.
Camera, Photos, and Files
If a driver chooses to attach an image or document in chat or in load document workflows, Truck State may access the device camera, photo library, or the system file picker to let the driver create or select that content.
This access is used only to support driver-initiated uploads inside the app. We do not use camera, photo library, or file-picker access for advertising or unrelated profiling.
Location Data
Truck State uses location permissions because live trip visibility is a core function of the app. During an active assigned trip, the app may collect approximate, precise, and background location so dispatch can monitor trip progress, movement between stops, and arrival updates.
Background location is used only for active transportation and delivery workflows. It is not used for advertising, profiling unrelated behavior, or health and fitness purposes.
Activity Recognition
On supported Android devices, Truck State may use activity recognition to understand whether the device is moving or stationary. This helps optimize location updates and reduce battery usage during active trips. It is not used for health, wellness, or step-counting purposes.
SMS Program Disclosures
Truck State may send SMS messages for driver app access, app-link delivery, phone verification, account access, and limited support or operational follow-up. Message frequency varies based on driver assignment activity, invite requests, verification attempts, and support needs.
Message and data rates may apply. Drivers can reply STOP to stop SMS messages and reply HELP for help. For direct support, contact service@2i-digitals.com.
Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and related phone numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
How Information Is Shared
Truck State shares operational trip information with authorized dispatchers, carriers, brokers, shippers, and other parties involved in the assigned load workflow when needed to support transportation operations.
We may also use service providers that support app functionality, such as phone verification, cloud messaging, hosting, mapping, and infrastructure services.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain shipment history, support dispatch workflows, meet legal or contractual obligations, and resolve security or support issues.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
Drivers can stop using the app at any time. Some permissions, including location and notifications, can be managed through device settings, but disabling them may limit core trip-tracking functionality.
Children’s Privacy
Truck State is intended for business and transportation use and is not directed to children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at this page with a revised effective date.
